Knight Fight is a great beginning band work done in the Flex-Band style. Anyone can play one of 3 different parts depending on the level of growth. The parts are scored by instrument key for easy reading, based on the Tichelli format. This is an awesome first piece of music for a small group, helping to reinforce multiple basics of playing. As the group follows the Knights in their quest, multiple battles occur, making for an exciting piece! Percussion is very active with multiple parts to spread around, and the director is encouraged to use even more instruments to cover Percussion Part 2 as they need! If the group has not been introduced to accidentals and concert Ab, this will be a great place for them to start! Only 1 accidental is used, concert F# and concert Ab is used sparingly, mostly in part 1. This will be a hit with your beginner students even if they are distanced!
