Say goodbye to passwords
March 1, 2024
We’ve improved the security and convenience of our sign in process by replacing passwords with “magic links”. This means that you can enjoy Parts and Score without needing to remember a password.
Because passwords are less secure than other forms of user authentication, our switch to magic links gives Parts and Score an edge when it comes to protecting your data.

Price and quantity minimums
February 12, 2024
To help protect composers and to align with industry standards, we’ve added a minimum price and quantity for all products on Parts and Score.
Category | Example ensembles | Minimum price | Minimum order quantity |
---|---|---|---|
Large ensemble | Orchestra, concert band | $49.99 | 1 |
Small ensemble | String quartet, brass quintet | $29.99 | 1 |
Choir | SATB, SSA | $1.99 | 10 |
Other | Workbooks, textbooks | $4.99 | 1 |
This change will help ensure that composers are fairly compensated for their work and that the industry remains sustainable.
Note: We’re only enforcing these minimums for new music or updates to existing music. Existing music will not be affected.

Product Structured Schemas
November 8, 2023
Now, search engines can better display sheet music sold on Parts and Score.
For musicians, this means you can find the score that you’re looking for faster!
For publishers, this means your music will be more discoverable by musicians.
We do this by adding structured schema information to all of the product pages on Parts and Score. The information that we display to search engines through the structured schema is the same as the information that we display to users.
