For this composition-Reflections- I very much wanted it to be a violin duet rather than a heavier weighted part, so the parts are pretty equally divided. It is romantic in nature.It is placed at early intermediate level, about associated board grade 4 Written in D major- The youtube link has the full score for you to assess suitability. The Violins range is limited to two octaves D- top D and the most complicated rhythm is that of a pair of quavers so it is very suitable for students of most abilities. Bowing is not included but left to the performers.It is very suitable for all types of occasion, concerts, weddings, recitals, incidental music etc.. There are 3 instrumental pages per part and the piano part has 6 pages- 4 minutes in length.
