Description

For Tuba Quartet (EETT) or Trombone Quartet (TTTB), transposed to Ab/Db from the original Eb/Ab.  Composed for the Boston Food Fair of 1908, "Fairest of the Fair" is one of Sousa's most melodic marches, and will be an excellent selection for patriotic performances, such as the 4th of July. Inspired by a pretty girl at a previous fair, Sousa was equally enamored of the 4-bar motif that begins the march. It recurs at the end of the 1st strain, 2nd strain, and break strain.  Euphonium T.C. and B.C. parts are included.
